Newsfeed: Cooper & Hall Attend Careers Event

Former St Aidan’s pupil Joe Wright was proud to represent Cooper & Hall at the recent STEM Careers Evening held at St Aidan’s CoE High School in Harrogate. Joe joined Cooper & Hall in September 2013 after completing his A Levels at St Aidan’s; he now combines working with studying at Northumbria University, where Cooper & Hall are sponsoring him on a part-time QS degree course. Cooper & Hall was one of nearly 70 exhibitors aiming to promote careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

The event was very well attended, with several hundred pupils and parents enjoying a lively and informative evening. Joe, QS Alison Duncan and Director Graham Hall were kept busy explaining a Quantity Surveyor’s role, showing examples of QS work and giving information on study options.
